Capital Title Insurance Company is full-service title insurance, escrow and real estate-related information services firm with offices in Manhattan, Topeka and Lawrence. It provides title and closing services for Riley and surrounding counties.
Capital Title was formed in 1999 and began transacting business on May 15, 2000. It’s business involves the search and examination of titles, issuance of commitments & policies of title insurance, closing escrow services and the sale of real estate information to builders, bankers, real estate agents, attorneys and other interested customers.
The company provides residential, commercial, new construction and 1031 Deferred Exchange services. They pride themselves on not only accurate and timely delivery of title and information services, but for customer-focused, friendly service. State-of-the art computer systems provide the infrastructure for electronic delivery of title insurance products and information.
Capital Title is licensed by the Kansas Department of Insurance to issue title insurance in the State of Kansas and is a duly authorized policy issuing agent for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title and Guaranty Company.
The Company is owned by Jeffrey J. Amrein, a licensed Attorney and Title Agent for the State of Kansas. Mr. Amrein has over 25 years experience in the title industry and prior to forming Capital Title was Regional Counsel and Director of Agency Operations for a National Title Insurance Underwriter
